Instructions
 

  • Make sure the foam is coffee:– In an individual mixing bowl make a mixture of 2 tbsp instant coffee with 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons hot water. Whisk the mixture vigorously using your hand (3-5 minute) or you can use the hand mixer (1-2 minutes) until the mixture becomes thin, light and foamy, while forming soft high peaks.
  • Prepare the milk: To make hot and frothy, coffee, heat 1 1/2 cups of milk in a microwave or a pot until it is steaming (not boiling) and then divide it between two cups. For iced, frothy coffee Pour two glasses full of frozen cubes, then pour in 3/4 cup of cold coffee into both.
  • Assemble the coffee: Pour the foam of coffee all over chilled or hot milk in the glass or mug. Stir gently and slowly to blend the foam with the milk to create a smooth texture. You can also leave it layered to display.
  • Decorate and serve: Sprinkle with cinnamon cocoa powder or drizzles of syrup made from chocolate (if making use of).
  • Add a spoonful of whip cream to give it an extra lavishness (optional).
